Senior Cloud & DevOps Engineer
Own the infrastructure that AI automation work runs on: the pipelines, the environments and the operational surface behind agent systems delivered into client estates. This is a senior contract role in Eldoret, working alongside the engineers building those systems rather than supporting them from a distance.
What you would own
- Design and run the cloud infrastructure behind client AI and automation workloads
- Build deployment pipelines that make a release a routine act rather than an event
- Own environments, observability and the operational evidence that a system is behaving
- Integrate and maintain the automation workflows delivery depends on, end to end
- Make failure modes visible and recoverable before they reach a client
- Keep infrastructure decisions documented well enough for the next engineer to act on
What we are looking for
- Five or more years building and operating production infrastructure
- Cloud platform depth you can defend in detail rather than in outline
- Fluency with infrastructure as code and pipeline tooling
- You have been on call for something that mattered, and improved it afterwards
- Able to explain an outage to a client without jargon and without excuses
- Comfortable working to audit and compliance constraints from the first design session
